DCP&P Investigation Physical Abuse Somerset County NJ Lawyer Needed

Somerset County DCP&P Investigation

A client recently hired us when they were being investigation by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) in Somerset County, New Jersey. There were some very serious allegations of physical abuse towards their child and both parents were under investigation. After speaking to our clients and listening to their story, it was clear that the allegations of physical abuse were baseless.

As a result, we advised both parents to stop cooperating with DCP&P and let our attorneys take over the investigation and the case. Once Brent DiMarco was involved and communicating with the attorneys for DCP&P, the case was resolved quickly.  In less than three weeks, the case was closed.  Moreover, there was no finding made against either parent indicating any welfare concerns. Finally, and neither parent was required to submit to any services (such as counseling, alcohol or drug treatment, etc. )
